A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to evaluating and treating students with speech, language, and communication needs. This role involves delivering comprehensive therapy services through telepractice, ensuring students receive effective support remotely.
Location: Whitesboro, NY (serving schools in the region)
Assignment Dates: September 8 – June 26
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Implement individualized treatment plans targeting specific speech and language goals.
- Provide therapy sessions utilizing teletherapy techniques to engage students in a virtual setting.
- Monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP.
- Proven experience in teletherapy delivery, particularly within school settings.
- Strong understanding of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
