Provide essential speech services for a contract role supporting multiple classrooms for students with diverse learning needs in York, PA. This position offers the opportunity to deliver impactful therapy to students in Autistic Support and Learning Support settings, enhancing their communication skills through both onsite and teletherapy models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services to three classrooms comprising 56 students, including Autistic Support classrooms and Learning Support students.
- Utilize telepractice or onsite methods in accordance with client requirements, ensuring effective and engaging therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with special education teams to tailor therapy plans that address individual student goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes.
- Comply with certification and supervision requirements, including adherence to agency policies when working as a Clinical Fellow (CF) or with Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).
Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification and Teaching Certification required at the time of application.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered with agency-paid $2,000 supervision fee.
- Experience working with Autistic Support and Learning Support student populations.
- Ability to provide teletherapy services, preferably paired with SLPAs for virtual service delivery.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage therapy schedules and documentation.
Location:
- York, Pennsylvania — Services provided onsite and via teletherapy to multiple school sites.
Engagement Terms:
- Contract assignment running immediately through the end of May 2027.
