Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - PA

Speech-Language Pathology services are required to support students in specialized educational settings in York, PA, from now through the end of May 2027. This contract position involves providing targeted speech therapy for students with diverse needs within Autistic Support and Learning Support classrooms.

The assignment includes supporting a total of 56 students across three locations: two Autistic Support classrooms at one site and one Learning Support classroom at another. Student caseloads are approximately 8 per Autistic Support classroom and 30 at the Learning Support location. Therapy services can be delivered onsite by a Certified CCC Speech-Language Pathologist or through a Teletherapy model involving a licensed SLP in combination with a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Teletherapy services require the presence of an SLPA, as virtual-only providers are not accepted.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language evaluations, intervention, and progress monitoring tailored to students with autism spectrum disorder and learning support needs.
• Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Deliver services either onsite or via approved teletherapy methods, ensuring compliance with certification and supervision requirements.

Qualifications:

• Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology certification.
• Valid teaching certificate.
• CCC certification preferred. Clinical Fellows with an agency-paid supervision plan will be considered.
• Experience or willingness to work with Autistic Support and Learning Support populations.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with school personnel and adhere to educational guidelines.
