Step into a dynamic educational setting, supporting students’ communication and language development as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a welcoming school near Tempe, AZ. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain it.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) accepted, but Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in educational environments.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders for students in a school-based setting.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development as required.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship if supporting CFY clinicians.
