Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist - Tenino, Washington

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
• Experience with pediatric populations, preferably in school or healthcare settings
• Strong understanding of IEP development and familiarity with special education laws
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions targeting articulation, language, fluency, and voice challenges
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and contribute to IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support each student’s unique needs
• Educate families and staff regarding strategies to support communication skills in and out of the classroom
