Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood learners in a full-time school-based role. This position serves a PreK-Kindergarten caseload at an early learning center and focuses primarily on providing push-in services within classroom settings. Qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) may also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech and language services to PreK and Kindergarten students.
Deliver primarily push-in therapy services within classroom environments.
Conduct screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring as appropriate.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Maintain accurate documentation and service records.
Participate in meetings and consultations regarding student progress and interventions.
Qualifications
Required
Active Indiana Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate credentials for SLPA practice.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with early childhood populations.
Knowledge of speech and language development in young children.
Preferred
Previous experience working with PreK and Kindergarten students.
Experience providing services in educational settings.
Familiarity with push-in therapy models and classroom-based interventions.
