Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Certified with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid New Mexico SLP license (required)
• Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Willingness to travel between sites (itinerant role)
• Flexible, adaptable, and committed to serving youth with varied needs
• Skilled communicator, collaborator, and organizer

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services to students
• Support students’ development in speech, language, communication, and social skills
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state regulations
• Collaborate regularly with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure students’ goals are met
• Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and provide ongoing progress updates
• Travel to assigned sites within the district as needed
