Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to obtain
- Current licensure or the ability to obtain state licensure as required
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with students of varying ages
- Comfortable working collaboratively with educational staff, families, and other related service providers
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse backgrounds and needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct in-person speech and language therapy services to students in elementary and high school settings
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and document student progress
- Implement therapy through engaging activities tailored to student goals
- Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities
- Offer consultation and support to teachers and families to maximize student progress
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote best practices in student communication and learning
