Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting K–5 students as a Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) in a vibrant educational environment. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact across three elementary campuses, delivering both on-site and virtual (VOCO) services to help each student achieve their communication potential.
You will work 35 hours per week for the 2026–2027 school year, serving diverse learners at the elementary level. Engage collaboratively with school staff and families to assess needs and provide essential support to young students as they develop foundational skills.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Current registration with the Board of Speech Examiners
- Ability to present valid licensure documentation as part of credentialing
- Experience or openness to providing both in-person and VOCO (virtual) therapy
- Confidence in servicing multiple elementary campuses
- Familiarity with school-based caseloads, ideally K–5th grade
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy services on-site and virtually
- Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation
- Travel between assigned campuses when on-site (Holloway Elementary, Dawes Intermediate, Semmes Elementary)
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to maximize student potential
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
