Qualifications and Preferences:
- Current North Carolina SLP license required
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellow (CF) credentials accepted (supervision provided for CFs)
- Experience supporting students with autism (AU) and low cognitive disabilities is highly valued
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Must be available to work full time, 35-37.5 hours weekly, for the duration of the academic year (August 12, 2026, to June 11, 2027)
- SLPA credentials are not accepted for these positions
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of up to 35 students
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educational staff to support student success
- Participate actively in assessments, eligibility meetings, and progress reporting
- Adapt therapy approaches and materials based on student strengths and levels
