Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or pending SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Relevant licensure for practice in the state required or in process
  • Experience in pediatric speech-language services preferred
  • Background in school-based or healthcare settings beneficial
  • Ability to provide engaging therapy sessions in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, families, and team members
  • Organizational skills for documenting progress and meeting deadlines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
  • Deliver intervention sessions individually and in groups, adapting approaches for optimal outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and families to support students’ progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and consultations as part of the school-based team
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of services provided
  • Employ evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in the field
