Step into a rewarding role supporting student communication and success as a Speech-Language Pathologist providing on-site services to elementary and middle school students. Deliver essential therapy and evaluate speech and language needs across PreK and grades 4–12 within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina NCDPI SLP license (must be current and verified)
  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience with ECATS system is essential
  • Position open to SLP-CCCs only; not considering SLP CFs or SLPAs at this time
  • Proficiency with Infinite Campus for student management and reporting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct, individualized speech-language therapy per student IEP goals, supporting either Thomasville Primary, Liberty Drive Elementary, or Thomasville Middle School students
  • Complete thorough evaluations and develop detailed assessment reports
  • Design and implement treatment plans, monitoring each student’s progress and adapting interventions as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in IEP meetings, and work closely with teachers and families to ensure comprehensive support
  • Maintain clear, timely, and accurate student records, progress notes, and compliance documents within ECATS and Infinite Campus
  • Provide classroom-based, consultative support to empower staff and promote student inclusion
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant special education policies and procedures at the local, state, and federal levels

This full-time, on-site contract runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027. You’ll support caseloads of approximately 35–40 students per site, delivering therapy that makes a measurable impact.
