Two rewarding contract opportunities are available for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists looking to work full-time within dynamic educational settings. One role centers on a K–5 traditional elementary school, delivering evaluations, direct therapy, and IEP management for elementary students. The other focuses on a K–12 separate school environment, serving students with disabilities and requiring specialized interventions, adaptive communication (AAC) strategies, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications:

  • Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • School-based SLP experience strongly valued
  • Experience with elementary-aged populations, and/or working with students with significant needs (including AAC), highly desirable
  • Proficient in managing comprehensive evaluations, IEP development, and executing therapy sessions for diverse caseloads

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based direct therapy services to students according to IEPs
  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and reevaluations
  • Develop, implement, and track measurable goals in alignment with educational policies
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Support students using adaptive communication technology when appropriate
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and uphold compliance standards
