What you bring:
- Current and valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Appropriate certification to practice in school settings
- Experience or strong interest in working with students from elementary through high school
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to ethical guidelines and confidentiality
In this role, you will:
- Assess and identify speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary, middle, and high school students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student needs
- Provide direct speech-language services one-on-one and in small groups
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support positive outcomes
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional input
- Offer guidance and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
