An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school setting in the Thornton, CO area. This full-time position (35+ hours per week) supports students of elementary age at one school location, focusing on delivering speech and language therapy tailored to the needs of children in a public school environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to students at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and meetings.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
  • Adhere to all state licensure and educational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates (SLP-As not eligible for this position).
  • Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

This role requires on-site presence and involves travel within the Denver metropolitan area. The position is available ASAP through late May 2026.
