An opportunity is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within a school setting in the Thornton, CO area. This full-time position (35+ hours per week) supports students of elementary age at one school location, focusing on delivering speech and language therapy tailored to the needs of children in a public school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy to students at Arapahoe Ridge Elementary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and meetings.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Adhere to all state licensure and educational requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech Language Pathologist licensure.
- Current Colorado Department of Education (DOE) certification.
- Open to Clinical Fellowship Candidates (SLP-As not eligible for this position).
- Experience or interest in school-based speech-language pathology preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
This role requires on-site presence and involves travel within the Denver metropolitan area. The position is available ASAP through late May 2026.
