What You'll Bring:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Proven experience or a strong interest in working with elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Current licensure to practice as an SLP in California (or eligibility to obtain)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy to elementary-level students with diverse communication needs
- Conduct assessments and re-evaluations to determine students’ speech and language abilities
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress toward goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute your expertise to multidisciplinary teams
