Make a meaningful impact in the lives of K-8 students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive, school-based environment. This full-time contract position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year, offering the opportunity to provide direct services to a diverse student population with general and mild needs. You'll work onsite, collaborating with fellow professionals in a role designed for a certified SLP (CCC required) — no SLPA supervision necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred
  • Ability to tailor interventions for students with general and mild communication needs
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school community

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and deliver therapy to K-8 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and federal guidelines
  • Provide guidance and strategies to support student communication development in the classroom
  • Attend IEP and staff meetings as needed
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging therapeutic environment onsite
