School Speech Language Pathologist - Thousand Oaks, CA

This contract position is based near Thousand Oaks, CA, and offers an immediate start, allowing you to make a difference right away. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule and a 35-hour workweek, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated educational team to provide vital speech and language services.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in California
• Experience providing speech and language support in school settings preferred
• Previous high school caseload experience is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized plans tailored to student needs
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for high school students
• Develop and deliver individualized therapy plans that align with IEP requirements
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Provide consultation and support to staff regarding communication strategies
• Track and report on student outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed
