Qualifications:

  • Active New Mexico SLP license (issued by NMRLD and NMPED), or eligibility with pending status by your start date
  • Open to SLPs with CCCs, Clinical Fellows (CFY), and those with pediatrics or school-based experience
  • Prior school SLP experience is appreciated, but not required—enthusiastic new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities with students, staff, and families

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students based on IEP goals
  • Assess, diagnose, and document speech, language, and communication disorders within the school setting
  • Collaborate with special education and general education staff to deliver integrated therapies
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
  • Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance documentation
