As a full-time Speech Language Pathologist working in a school-based setting, you'll make a true difference working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract role offers a fulfilling way to support a diverse caseload and help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Experience and Qualifications:
- Active South Carolina SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) mandated
- School-based SLP experience preferred
- Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation skills
- Comfort working with a broad age range from kindergarten to high school
- Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ needs
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services within the educational setting
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and district standards
- Serve as an essential member of the IEP team, providing input on student progress and accommodations
This full-time contract position offers the opportunity to work with a supportive school community.
