Make an impact as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students in a school setting near Tinley Park, IL. This full-time contract role runs from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027, with a consistent 35-hour workweek. As a key resource for students ages 3 to 21, your expertise will support their communication and development in a collaborative educational environment. This position is fully in-person, allowing you to work directly with students and staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois SLP license required
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) mandatory
  • Previous school-based SLP experience is preferred
  • Ability to support students across a range of ages and abilities (early childhood through transition-aged young adults)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students in alignment with IEPs and school goals
  • Assess and document student progress, maintaining proper records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and related service staff
  • Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
  • Provide support and training for families and staff as needed
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
