This onsite, school-based position, just outside Chicago, offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for students during a maternity leave coverage from September 14, 2026, through December 16, 2026. Position Details:

  • Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 8:15am - 3:30pm
  • Serve a caseload of 45-50 students across 4th to 8th grade
  • Onsite only – collaborate closely with school teams and students

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active Illinois SLP license/certification (CCC or CFY)
  • School-based experience highly preferred, especially in pediatric or adolescent populations
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments and screenings
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and indirect speech therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver effective interventions aligned with student goals
