Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting students in the PreK–9th grade range. Starting August 28, 2026, this flexible, part-time role will have you providing essential leave coverage three days per week, with work hours from 7:50 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. The assignment offers a chance to make a positive difference in the lives of students while enjoying a balanced schedule in a supportive educational environment.

Ideal candidates bring expertise in speech-language services for children and adolescents and thrive in collaborative school settings. You will assess communication needs, implement individualized therapy plans, and track student progress—all within an engaging, multi-grade caseload.

Qualifications and experience desired:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Ohio state licensure for Speech-Language Pathologists
  • Valid Ohio teaching certification (or eligibility)
  • Clinical Competence Certification (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Prior experience with pediatric or school-based populations preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments for PreK–9th grade students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
  • Attend and participate in student support meetings and IEP processes
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records per district guidelines
