Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- RIDE certification (Rhode Island Department of Education) required
- Current Rhode Island SLP license required
- Experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Skilled in working with pediatric populations
- Comfortable providing services via teletherapy and in person
- SLPs and SLPAs (including CFY) with healthcare and/or school-based experience encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver assessment, treatment, and intervention services for K-12 students
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans
- Utilize a blended service model (in-person and teletherapy) as needed
- Document progress and maintain thorough records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Support student goals for communication, social skills, and academic achievement
