Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Pennsylvania SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) supervision can be provided
- Experience working with pediatric and school-based populations across a range of ages and abilities
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Commitment to collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Previous school experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload, addressing a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to develop appropriate Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school and professional standards
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to support academic and social success for each student
- Provide consultation and training as needed to staff and parents to optimize student progress
- Adapt therapy plans and strategies as needed to meet each student’s unique needs
