This contract position invites motivated professionals, including Clinical Fellows, to make a meaningful impact on learners in K–5 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe/Profound classrooms. You’ll collaborate within a dedicated team, participating in IEP meetings, monitoring student progress, and ensuring all necessary documentation—such as Medicaid billing—is complete and compliant.
Key qualifications and preferred experience:
- Active Georgia SLP licensure required
- Current Georgia Educator Certificate required
- New graduates and Clinical Fellows are warmly encouraged to apply
- School-based experience preferred, especially with Autism or Severe/Profound classroom populations
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite throughout the duration of the contract
Primary responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized and group speech therapy services to K–5 students
- Developing and implementing communication goals tailored to each student’s needs
- Conducting regular progress monitoring and maintaining accurate records
- Collaborating closely with classroom staff, families, and related services to foster student growth
- Actively participating in IEP meetings and professional development as needed
- Managing Medicaid billing and other required documentation
This full-time opportunity runs through the end of the current school year, with the option to extend through 2025–2026. Flexible scheduling is available—part-time schedules will be considered to help support work-life balance.
