Step into a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact as a Speech Language Pathologist working with students from middle to high school age. This full-time, onsite contract role offers the chance to split your time evenly between a middle school and a high school, serving a caseload of approximately 50 students. You’ll play a vital part in fostering communication and academic success for students, while collaborating closely with dedicated school teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Proficiency in sign language
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially at the middle and high school levels
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational capabilities and the ability to manage a full caseload across two campuses
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and assessments to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ goals and progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Attend student meetings and participate actively in the broader educational team
- Travel between two assigned school sites each day
This contract position offers a stable schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day, plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch), running from your start date through late May 2026. Expect an engaging, fast-paced environment where your expertise and compassion will help students thrive.
