This contract opportunity calls for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) with robust clinical expertise and a commitment to making a meaningful difference. You’ll work primarily at one school with the occasional opportunity to serve across two, engaging with a diverse caseload of about 60 students per week.
What we're looking for:
- Hold a valid Texas SLP license (Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply)
- Possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility to supervise CFs if credentialed
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
- Adaptability and organizational abilities for managing varied schedules and caseloads
- Willingness to supervise and mentor, if appropriate
What you'll do:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students with diverse needs, assessing and developing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate on IEP teams and contribute to multi-disciplinary evaluations
- Monitor student progress, update documentation, and communicate findings to stakeholders
- Travel between one or two school sites as needed within the district
- Supervise emerging SLPs (CFs) if eligible
