Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required
- Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Familiarity with a wide range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students’ speech and language abilities through standardized tools and observations
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans to address specific needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other support staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain detailed records, write progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, as needed
- Utilize evidence-based practices to support student growth and achievement
