Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience working with pediatric or school-based caseloads is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP process, assessment procedures, and therapy techniques for varied speech-language needs
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each student’s IEP goals
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed for optimal results
- Document sessions, maintain accurate clinical records, and contribute insights at IEP meetings
- Provide resources, education, and guidance to classroom teachers and families to support student success
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care and integrated educational support
