Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Ability to supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA)
- Strong organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise SLPA staff members, fostering skill development and ensuring quality standards
- Complete comprehensive speech-language evaluations
- Lead and participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to develop student success plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Act as a consultative expert—these roles do not include the provision of direct therapy
