An exciting opportunity awaits passionate Speech-Language Pathologists seeking a rewarding contract position within a thriving North Houston area district. This full-time, on-site role offers the chance to make a real difference in students’ lives with openings available across the north, northeast, and south portions of the district. Most positions are based at one primary school, with some itinerant assignments possible. The contract runs from August 12, 2026, through May 28, 2027, providing a consistent schedule during the academic year.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active state licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
  • Strong collaboration and communication abilities
  • Flexibility and adaptability to serve a diverse student population
  • Bilingual SLPs are highly encouraged, with openings available for both monolingual and bilingual clinicians

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with school teams, families, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation and participate in eligibility meetings
  • Support and advocate for students’ communication needs within the school environment
