Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Previous experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify student speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and carry out effective therapy plans tailored to students’ specific needs
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
- Provide support and strategies to classroom teams for inclusive communication opportunities
- Document and report progress on student goals, contributing to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain up-to-date records and adhere to all school and state guidelines
