A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tonganoxie, KS, providing services across multiple school locations with travel involved. This role focuses on assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students, supporting their academic and social development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports on student progress
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
- Manage caseload with travel between assigned school sites
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure or certification as an SLP
- Experience working with school-age children preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the assigned area
Location:
- Tonganoxie, Kansas, with travel to nearby schools as required
