Step into a fulfilling role supporting students across kindergarten through 6th grade as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract position begins August 24th and offers about 20 hours per week (with some flexibility). Key experience and skills that make you a great fit:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current or eligible SLP licensure in Maine
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
  • School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
  • Confident in IEP development and progress monitoring
  • Able to adapt interventions for diverse learning styles

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing evaluations and evidence-based therapy for a caseload of 8–10 students
  • Serving as a collaborative partner with teachers and families to develop and track progress on IEPs
  • Delivering direct support and consultation for PreK–6th grade students in a variety of school settings
  • Maintaining detailed documentation and reports to support student growth
  • Participating in team meetings and professional development as needed
