Step into a dynamic role supporting middle school students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an exciting full-time assignment spanning August through mid-November. In this maternity leave position, you’ll collaborate with dedicated educators and families, making a positive contribution during a pivotal time of the academic year.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure as required for practice
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably middle school
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adjust quickly to new environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Deliver direct therapy services in both group and individual settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and document student progress
  • Adapt therapy strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs and schedules
  • Maintain thorough, compliant records and uphold confidentiality at all times
