Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience providing SLP services in a school setting (middle school experience strongly preferred)
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and data-driven therapy planning
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities with students, staff, and parents
  • Commitment to fostering students’ educational and social development

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services to middle school students on your caseload
  • Conducting assessments, progress monitoring, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans to support student goals
  • Participating in IEP meetings, providing professional input for goal-setting and service recommendations
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to promote a communicatively supportive classroom environment
  • Consulting with faculty and caregivers to share strategies and progress updates
