Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or CFY considered
- Experience working within school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to tailor services to diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals based on student requirements
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students, individually or in groups
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining thorough and compliant records
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive intervention strategies
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise in communication development
- Incorporate assistive technology and resources as needed to maximize student success
