Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Torrance, CA

This full-time contract opportunity calls for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY) to provide on-site services across campuses in the Los Angeles area. You’ll play an essential part in ensuring students receive high-quality speech and language therapy that supports their educational success.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Active California SLP License
• Valid CTC credential (preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellow (CFY) with supervision available
• Experience with school-aged children preferred
• Strong organizational skills and adaptability working across multiple school sites (up to four, with an average of two)
• Reliable transportation to commute within a one-hour or 20-mile radius

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 55-60 students, pre-K through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments and create individualized goals to support students’ educational progress
• Document services and communicate with interdisciplinary education teams
• Collaborate closely with on-campus case managers, freeing you from case management duties
• Utilize assessment materials with costs reimbursed up to a district-approved budget

This position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm, operating throughout the academic year. Those entering a Clinical Fellowship Year must have supervision in place to be eligible.
