Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting students’ communication skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, contract position spans from ASAP through June 2027 and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference across multiple schools serving K-12 students. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP license and active Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Recent experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology
- Capable of effectively managing and prioritizing responsibilities across multiple schools
- Skilled at working with diverse student populations spanning K-12
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to in-person service delivery
- Adaptable, proactive, and motivated to support educators, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students with a variety of communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families, to support student goals
- Document progress, maintain compliance, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Travel between assigned school sites within the district as part of your weekly schedule
- Engage in continued professional development to maintain best practices in service delivery
