School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Townsend, Delaware

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain prior to start
• CCC-SLP credential preferred, but strong CFY candidates are also encouraged to apply
• School-based SLP experience is a plus
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students with speech, language, and communication concerns
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
• Deliver both individual and group therapy in accordance with student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support each child’s progress
• Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation
• Provide guidance and support for other educational team members regarding communication strategies
