Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Consideration for candidates holding CCC or pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly regarded
- Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage student caseloads
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students
- Manage an organized caseload of up to 61 students, with an average of 55
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment for diverse learners
