Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Consideration for candidates holding CCC or pursuing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly regarded
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to effectively manage student caseloads
  • Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K-8 students
  • Manage an organized caseload of up to 61 students, with an average of 55
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Maintain thorough, timely documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment for diverse learners
