Step into a meaningful role supporting students as a Speech Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with services aligning to the school calendar and a start date of August 6th. Your schedule will follow the school day, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
In this role, you’ll manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students across school sites (specific locations to be determined). Your expertise will help students develop critical communication skills, making a real impact on their academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Valid California SLP license required
- Certification as SLP-CCC or ability to practice as SLP-CFY
- Prior experience in educational settings preferred
- Comfortable working with a diverse student population
- Strong collaborative and communication abilities
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Adapt instructional practices and materials to address a variety of student abilities and backgrounds
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
