Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Demonstrated experience in a school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge in assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and families
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic educational setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels
- Monitor progress, document data, and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
- Provide support and training to teachers and staff on strategies for classroom communication success
- Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed and engaged in their child’s progress
