Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid California SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Demonstrated experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong knowledge in assessing and treating a variety of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Excellent interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and families
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to a dynamic educational setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students’ communication needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across grade levels
• Monitor progress, document data, and adjust interventions for optimal student outcomes
• Provide support and training to teachers and staff on strategies for classroom communication success
• Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed and engaged in their child’s progress
