Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language disorders in students
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based therapy sessions focused on speech and language goals
- Evaluate, track, and clearly document each student’s progress throughout the duration of care
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and other professionals to ensure coordinated interventions
- Involve families in the therapy process, offering guidance and education to foster understanding and compliance
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university
- Active or eligible for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates are welcome
- Previous experience working with pediatric or school-aged clients is highly valued
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, displaying both independence and teamwork
Additional Requirements:
- Must hold or obtain a valid state license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative educational team
