School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Tracy City, Tennessee

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or in progress CFY, highly valued;
• Experience in schools as an SLP or SLPA, or relevant healthcare exposure;
• Teletherapy practice experience a plus;
• Ability to work with diverse learners, primarily at the elementary level;
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for multidisciplinary teamwork;
• Passion for fostering student communication and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language interventions to students, mainly elementary with some middle-school coverage;
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs);
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations for speech/language needs;
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress;
• Document services, progress, and compliance per school and state guidelines;
• Rotate between 2-3 school buildings, adapting to various team cultures and student needs.
