Skills and Credentials Desired:

  • Active licensure or eligibility for SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA in the state
  • Previous school-based SLP/SLPA experience is highly valued
  • Experience or interest in teletherapy services is a plus
  • Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working with both elementary and middle school populations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Document and track student progress, maintaining thorough and timely records
  • Consult regularly with teachers, families, and other educational professionals to integrate goals and strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving
  • Deliver both in-person and virtual (teletherapy) services as assigned

This rewarding role offers a pay rate of $45-57 per hour, depending on schools-based experience.
