Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Williston, ND | Contract | K-12

Location: Williston, North Dakota
Contract Length: September 2025 – June 2026
Grades: Primarily elementary with some early childhood and high school students
Schedule: School calendar-based hours

Role Overview:
This Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position supports a diverse caseload of approximately 28 students, primarily in elementary grades with some early childhood and secondary students. The role involves conducting assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote speech and language development across the K-12 spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and deliver individualized therapy tailored to each student’s goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement accommodations and modifications
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress tracking
  • Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers to support carryover at home

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure in North Dakota
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and applicable educational laws
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with school teams
