Required Skills and Experience:
- Valid New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist license
- New Jersey Department of Education Certification
- Background or interest in working within school settings
- Open to various levels of experience, including SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY
- Exceptional communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Committed to professional growth and student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with communication disorders
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear documentation and progress reports in accordance with state and school guidelines
- Engage and consult with families to support carryover of skills at home
- Participate in district and team meetings as needed
- Offer both direct and indirect services to ensure comprehensive student support
