A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a school-based role located in Trenton, NJ. This position involves providing specialized speech and language services to students within educational settings, supporting their communication development, and enhancing their academic progress. The role requires travel between assigned schools to deliver consistent and high-quality therapy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students with various communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to individualized education plan (IEP) development.
  • Adapt therapy approaches to a range of age groups and communication challenges.
  • Manage scheduling and travel efficiently to meet the needs of multiple school locations.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure and certification as an SLP.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between school sites regularly.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to special education.
