Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists in the Washington DC area, specifically located about 45 minutes south of the city. This full-time position runs from August 3, 2026, through May 27, 2027, and offers opportunities to work across a variety of school levels—elementary, middle, and high school. With flexible caseload assignments and support from a dedicated account manager, you’ll be able to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives throughout the 185-day contract period.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure from the state of Virginia
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Ability to work on-site (no VOCO, no virtual or hybrid work)
  • Willingness to serve a diverse age range of students as caseloads are being finalized
  • Preparedness to initiate all time-sensitive credentialing, including a Virginia Department of Social Services background check and a valid TB test

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication goals
  • Maintain clear, timely documentation and progress reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct intervention and consultation services on-site within the assigned schools
