This contract offers guaranteed hours, compensation for both direct and indirect services, and focuses solely on your speech therapy caseload—there are no additional responsibilities like bus duty or parent pickup. Travel therapists are also eligible for stipends.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY accepted
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but strong clinical fellows are encouraged to apply
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students in elementary and middle school
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulations and deadlines
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as required
