Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary and middle school students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time, onsite contract runs from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, working from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. You’ll manage a diverse caseload across elementary and middle school levels, providing vital speech and language services within a collaborative educational environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current, active North Carolina SLP license required
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) preferred; SLP Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome
  • Experience or strong interest in working within school settings (elementary and/or middle school)
  • Proven skills in speech, language, and communication disorder assessment and intervention
  • Ability to work effectively onsite and communicate well with students, families, and school staff
  • Positive, flexible, and solutions-driven attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with varied speech and language needs
  • Deliver direct therapeutic interventions based on IEP goals, adapting strategies for both elementary and middle school learners
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents/guardians to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings
  • Comply with local, state, and federal regulations and ethical guidelines
