Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Play a vital role in fostering communication growth and academic success for young learners throughout the full school year.

This position will be full-time, with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek. Working onsite, your expertise will help shape positive educational outcomes in a diverse and dynamic school environment from August 13, 2026, through May 28, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license issued by the state of North Carolina
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred – experience with both elementary and middle school caseloads a plus
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, students, and families
  • Willingness to participate fully in an onsite capacity

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify speech/language disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students requiring speech/language support
  • Deliver direct and consultative SLP services tailored to individual student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student achievement
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based planning
